だいぶ、更新があいてしまいましたが、久しぶりの投稿です
まずは、今日の結果。
GW明けの、この時期はチチブ、2週間位後ヒネハゼ、そしてデキハゼと移行する
まさにハゼクラの前哨戦期間となります。
で結果ですが、
みてのとおりチチブがクランクでつれました。以前にも投稿しましたが、チチブ
はこの時期活性も高くよくルアーを追います、しかも産卵のためかサイズも
大きく引きがたのしめますが.......掛かりが悪い！！ハゼの10倍位難しいです。
でもこの位のサイズが釣れれば楽しいのでぜひハゼクラ前の前哨戦として試してみては、いかがでしょうか？
で以下は余談ですが、1月からこの間の釣りについてまとめてみます。
ハゼの季節が過ぎてもまぁ釣りは好きなのでやめてはいないのですが、まずはルアーが同じなので管釣りトラウトがこの期間のメインとなります。
で近場でよく行く「としまえん」での釣果ですが、いずれも大物エリアのミシガンでなくナイアガラでの釣果です。
3月に釣ったデカ虹、60cmです

まぁこのサイズが釣れればすごい楽しいというかかなりファイトが楽しめます
あとは練習で毎週のようにフィッシュ・オン王禅寺へ釣行でした。下手っぴなので大体6時間で50匹程度です、それでもトップで釣れたりかなり楽しめました。
とくに4月頭の桜パターンでトップ連発です
ノリーズのスピッシュで20匹以上
桜のどこがトラウトを刺激するのか、とにかくノリーズのスピッシュというポッパーが大爆発！！これだけで20匹以上つれました、とにかく水面が割れる割れる！！凄いたのしいです。
そしてハゼクランク、管釣りのタックルと共通度の高いつり！メバリングに初挑戦です。
4月はメバルのプラッキングがいいということなでボートメバリングでメバル初挑戦です
暗くて見にくいですがこれはこの時の最大サイズ28cmのメバルさん
しかしこんなにプラグで釣れるとメバリング凄い楽しいです、ルアーもトラウト向けのプラグでも釣れましたしタックルも共有できましたし、オススメです。
でもうメバルに首ったけですライトソルトゲームはおもしろいですねGWも木更津と横浜でメバルゲームです

とにかく皆さんもルアーやタックルが共有できるライトソルト、管釣りトラウトをぜひやりましょう、ハゼクラはルアー釣りの入り口として最適です、その後ろには色々なターゲットがまっていますハゼクラは凄く楽しいですが、色々な釣りも楽しいですよ是非！
It's been a while since my last post, but I'm back with an update.
First off, here are today's results.
The period right after Golden Week is a time of transition, starting with Chichibu gobies, followed about two weeks later by hinehaze (last year's gobies), and then dekihaze (this year's young gobies). This is the true prelude to the goby crankbaiting season.
And as for the results,
As you can see, I caught a Chichibu goby with a crankbait. I've posted about this before, but Chichibu are very active this time of year and aggressively chase lures. Maybe because it's their spawning season, they're also large and put up a great fight, but....... they're incredibly hard to hook! It's about 10 times more difficult than with regular gobies.
Still, it's a blast to catch one this size, so why not give it a try as a warm-up for the goby crankbaiting season?
Now, for a bit of a tangent, I'll summarize my fishing trips from January up to now.
Even after the goby season ends, I still love to fish, so I don't stop. Since I can use the same lures, my main target during this off-season is area trout fishing.
Here are my catches from 'Toshimaen Fishing Area,' a spot I often visit nearby. All of these were caught in the Niagara area, not the Michigan area (which is for large fish).

This was caught with a baitcasting setup: a Calcutta Conquest BFS reel and a TULALA Kupuasu rod.
When you catch fish this size, it's an incredibly fun and thrilling fight.
Aside from that, I went to Fish On! Ozenji almost every week to practice. I'm still a beginner, so I usually catch about 50 fish in 6 hours. Even so, I had a great time, especially catching them on topwater lures.
In early April, during the 'sakura pattern,' the topwater bite was on fire.
Over 20 fish on a Nories Spish
I'm not sure what it is about the cherry blossoms that excites the trout, but the Nories Spish, a popper, was absolutely explosive! I caught over 20 fish on that lure alone. The surface strikes were non-stop! It was amazing.
Next, I tried a type of fishing that has a lot in common with goby crankbaiting and area trout in terms of tackle: my first attempt at mebaring (rockfish fishing)!
I heard that April is a great time for plugging for rockfish, so I gave boat mebaring a try for the first time.
It's dark and hard to see, but this was the biggest rockfish of the trip at 28 cm.
Catching so many on plugs makes rockfish fishing incredibly fun. I was even able to catch them on trout plugs and use the same tackle, so I highly recommend it.
Now I'm completely hooked on rockfish. Light saltwater game fishing is a blast! During Golden Week, I went after rockfish in Kisarazu and Yokohama.

Seriously, everyone should try light saltwater and area trout fishing, especially since you can use a lot of the same lures and tackle. Goby crankbaiting is the perfect gateway to lure fishing. After that, a whole world of different targets awaits! While goby crankbaiting is a ton of fun, so are all these other types of fishing. Definitely give them a try!
