色々、忙しくて更新が滞っていましたが、まぁ釣りだけはいってましたのでまとめて更新です。
誘われたのでアジングに初めていっていってきました。これが面白い
アジング向けのロッドを買うのと、ボートアジング向けにショートロッドが欲しくなり自作してしまいました

ブランクはアジング向けのジャストエースでマグナムテーパーと呼んでいるティップからバットまで極端にラッパ状になったブランクです。これは6.3ftのチューブラです、これをボートアジング向けに5.5ftに短くしました。

仮止めで釣りをしたところ問題がなく１５cmのヒネハゼもつれたのでガイドセッテイングはOKとしました。
で完成したところでまずはハゼ実釣です
ヒネもゲット(15cm)
まぁ問題なさそうです。
これでアジングの実釣にいけます
でアジングの成果は、赤潮が出ていて、かなり厳しい状況でしたが
3名で50匹弱
外道で45cmの黒鯛も
結果、アジングでしっかりアタリがとれました。また04号(2.2lb)のラインでヒヤヒヤものでしたがバットがしっかりしたブランクで4５cmの黒鯛も釣れよいロッドのテストになりました。
でアジングの翌週は
江戸川放水路でハゼクラ部のオフ会に参加しました
いやー渋かった、魚の居場所が見つからずオフ会のトーナメントはノーフィッシュでした
まぁ1匹つれたですが、写真のとおりあまりに釣れずリリースしました。

で今週の成果は土曜、日曜はアジングロッドの調子を見るため2日ともアジングロッドでトライしました
土曜日は午後4時からの釣行ですが、なんと雨まじりの天気、雨が強いとアタリはなく雨が弱くなるとアタリがでるといった感じでしたがヒネもでてまぁまぁな感じでしたが、6時前に雷がなりだしたので退散しました
まずはトレモ
とんにかくトレモ釣れますIWASHIN SP3のラトル入りで15cm
で次の日曜日も3時から6時までの釣行です、どうしてもマイクロスプーンで釣りたかったのでまずはマイクロスプーンで
アジングロッドはエキストラファーストテーパで極端な先調子、マイクロスプーンで掛けるつりには、いい感じです、ただクランクでは弾く感じでバラシが若干多くなるかんじでした。やはりクランクはファーストからレギュラーよりの調子のほうがやりやすいです。
クランク向けにもう一本竿つくろうかなぁ
ザンムMR28でヒネさん15cm
一通りスプーンでの釣りの後はクランクですがザンムのMR28がめちゃくちゃ良かったですもうアタリまくりで深場に投げるとヒネの15cmまで釣れこの日のMVPでしたねー
これでラトルが入っていたら無敵なんですが
ということで更新が滞っておりましたが釣りは順調にこなしていました(^o^)
更新頻度が下がらないようにがんばりたいと思いますが、なにぶん面倒くさがりのため、なにとぞ生暖かく見守ってください 。
It's been a while.
I've been busy and haven't updated in a while, but I have been fishing, so here's a catch-up post.
A friend invited me to go 'Ajing' (horse mackerel fishing) for the first time, and it was a lot of fun.
I was thinking of buying a rod for Ajing, but I also wanted a short rod for boat Ajing, so I ended up building one myself.

The blank is a Justace model for Ajing, which they call a 'magnum taper'—it's a blank that flares out extremely from the tip to the butt. It's a 6.3ft tubular blank, which I shortened to 5.5ft for boat Ajing.
The guides are all Torzite.

I based the guide settings on Fuji's recommendations for Ajing. Starting from the tip-top, the spacing is:

Here's what the grip area looks like:

A 15cm 'hinehaze' (mature goby) caught during the test.
The test fishing with the temporary setup went well, and I even caught a 15cm 'hinehaze' (mature goby), so I decided the guide settings were good to go.
With the rod completed, it was time to test it out by fishing for goby.
Got a mature goby too (15cm).
Well, it seems to work without any issues.
Now I can take it for some real Ajing.
As for the Ajing results, there was a red tide, making for some tough conditions, but...
Almost 50 fish among the three of us.
Also caught a 45cm black porgy as bycatch.
In the end, I was able to detect bites clearly while Ajing. I was a bit nervous using a #0.4 (2.2lb) line, but the blank has a strong butt section, and I even managed to land a 45cm black porgy, which made for a great test of the rod.
The week after the Ajing trip, I participated in an offline meetup for the 'Hazekura Club' at the Edogawa Drainage Channel.
Man, the fishing was tough. I couldn't find where the fish were, and I ended up with a 'no-fish' result in the meetup's tournament.
Well, I did catch one, but as the photo shows, the bite was so slow that I just released it.

Anyway, I'll post my catches from up to this week.
I bought a new rod, the baitcasting model of the Yamaga Blanks BlueCurrent.
I bought this one.

As for this week's results, I spent both Saturday and Sunday trying out the new Ajing rod to see how it performs.
On Saturday, I started fishing from 4 PM, but the weather was rainy. When the rain was heavy, there were no bites, but when it lightened up, I started getting them. I even caught some mature gobies, so it was pretty decent, but I had to leave before 6 PM because of thunder.
First with a Tremo.
Anyway, the Tremo really catches fish. A 15cm one on the rattling IWASHIN SP3.
Then on Sunday, I fished again from 3 to 6 PM. I really wanted to catch one on a micro spoon, so I started with that.
The Ajing rod has an extra-fast taper, making it extremely tip-action. It feels great for setting the hook with micro spoons. However, with crankbaits, it tends to knock them away, leading to a few more lost fish. A rod with a fast to regular action is definitely better for cranking.
Maybe I should build another rod just for crankbaits...
A 15cm mature goby on a ZANMU MR28.
After fishing with spoons for a while, I switched to crankbaits, and the ZANMU MR28 was incredible. I was getting bites constantly, and by casting into the deeper spots, I even caught a 15cm mature goby. It was definitely the MVP lure of the day.
If only it had a rattle, it would be unstoppable.
So, even though my updates have been lagging, my fishing has been going well (^o^)
I'll try my best not to let my update frequency drop, but I'm naturally lazy, so please bear with me.
